New Nepal plant to begin production19 June 2017, Published under Cement NewsAnnapurna Cements, Nepal’s newest greenfield plant, is scheduled to go into commercial production by June-end, according to local press reports. “We have adopted advanced technologies and modern equipment,” Rajendra Rawat, director of the company told the Kathmandu Post. “We will be importing raw materials from India.” The factory plans to sell its products in Provinces 1, 2 and 3 in the first phase.
